Iran to host World Taekwondo President’s Cup, Asian Taekwondo Club

.jwplayer{ display: inline-block; } TEHRAN, May 23 (MNA) – ATU Council Meeting & General Assembly has granted the rights to host World Taekwondo President’s Cup (G2), Asian Taekwondo Club to Iran.

According to the Public Relation Department of the Iran’s Taekwondo Federation, the ATU Council Meeting & General Assembly which was held today in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam decided to grant granted the rights to host World Taekwondo President’s Cup (G2), Asian Taekwondo Club (G1) to Iran.

The hosting of the 2019 Asian Cadet, Junior Championships was also handed over to Jordan in 2019.

The Iranian men‘s national taekwondo team won the title at the first edition of World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) President‘s Cup-Asian Region G-2, which was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in August, 2017.
