Trump tweets details of his offer of relief to ZTE

President Trump has revealed some basic terms under which he says Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE () can get out from under a U.S. ban, though they‘re light on detail because of his favored medium: Twitter.

“I with high level security guarantees, change of management and board, must purchase U.S. parts and pay a $1.3 Billion fine,” the president tweeted.

Earlier, the administration told Congress it had a — and along with that, its spending on U.S. parts from companies including Acacia Communications (NASDAQ:) and Oclaro (NASDAQ:).
