You can get a free pizza from Pizza Express just using your phone

It might nearly be the end of the month, but payday isn’t coming up for everyone. So a free lunch is ideal right now.

Thank God, then, that Pizza Express is offering a giveaway to basically anyone with a smartphone.

The high street restaurant chain will be giving away a free pizza to those willing to download the app.

So, delete that Candy Crush app and make space for a free pizza.

Unlike most too-good-to-be-true offers, the Pizza Express offer doesn’t require you to buy anything on the app either.

All you have to do is literally just download the app and you can bag yourself a complimentary Classic or Leggara pizza.

But you better hurry. You have to get it before Tuesday 29 May if you want to pick up the deal.

Try to download it off-peak times though, if there is such a thing, because the app has already crashed as it’s been so popular among keen customers.

Once you’ve got the app you’ll be sent a code for a free pizza, which you can use in restaurants when you dine in between Sunday to Thursday, excluding bank holiday Monday, Fridays, Saturdays and Father’s Day.

And even better news, the offer is valid for six weeks so you can save it for a rainy day.

There’s no limit either to how many people can use the app on one table, so get your pals or family to download it and get a free lunch for the entire group.

Calabrese and Romana pizzas are not part of the offer, though customers can pay to upgrade to these meals if they want.

Items on the kids’ Piccolo menu, takeaway or delivery orders, are also excluded, and Pizza Express will charge for extra toppings.
